I became inspired of the medieval art style when I just saw Disneys Sleeping Beauty. I was not trying to copy it though, just inspired of some elements. Maleficent is one of my all time favorite character designs. I’m also very found of witches of different kinds. But this isn’t a witch but she is indeed a magician who can turn herself in to a griffin. I was also inspired of colored stained glass.
